By spiral conveyor, wet sawdust is fed into the drying tube continuously. In the transportation and disperse of hot air flow, the water content in the wet materials will be evaporated to complete drying. Saw dust dryer or wood chip dryer is composed of air heater, feeding machine, air drying tube, spiral separator, draught fan and so on.

Common dryers usually use coal or wood as heat resource which demands high density of labor and high cost. In addition, large thermal efficiency loss makes the heat utilization is less than 30%. Usually the material of which water content is 35% should be dried for 3-4times. However, sawdust dryer can dry the material of which water content is 35% successfully for one time and save energy by 75%, greatly reducing the costs.
