Overview of cyclone dust collector

Cyclone dust collector, known as dust catcher, is composed of cyclone cylinder, dust collection hopper and volute (or wind-collection hood). This kind of dust removal equipment is featured with the advantages of low resistance, high dust removal efficiency, large processing capacity, stable performance, small floor space, simple structure, low price and so on. It is suitable for the purification of coarse and medium dust for mechanical processing, metallurgy, building materials, mining, etc.

Working principle of cyclone dust collector

Cyclone dust collector separates the dust from the airflow according to the different centrifugal forces of dust and air generated by the monocular cyclone airflow. The dust-laden air enters the cylinder via the intake-tube at the speed of 12 ~ 25m / s along the tangential direction and does the spiral movement downwardly between the outer cylinder and the central exhaust pipe, generating the centrifugal force during the rotation. On the one hand, the dust particle is affected by the air movement and rotates downwardly; on the other hand, under the role of centrifugal force, it gradually spreads out to be close to the cylinder wall. Eventually, it will collide with the inner wall of the outer cylinder and rotates downwardly along the inner wall. Cyclone dust collector is collected in the ash discharging port located at the bottom and discharged out from the machine. Because of the small quality, the gas is almost not affected by centrifugal force, but moves to the center of the dust collector with the conical contraction. Cyclone dust collector will be affected by the resistance at the bottom and moves upwardly, form a blast of rising swirl, which will be discharged from the upper end of the exhaust pipe to achieve the role of dust removal. Under normal circumstances, dust removal rate is about 80 percent.
